Being kind shouldn’t be that difficult in most situations, even though everyone faces challenges in life and it can be difficult for someone to be kind to others when they are dealing with their own issues. The smooth operation of a golf tournament depends on hundreds of volunteers who put in countless hours of work. At professional tournaments, volunteers can sign up and pay a fee in exchange for the opportunity to spend four or five days performing various tasks on the golf course. When a professional golfer is nice enough to offer a handshake or a cheerful “thank you” to a volunteer worker, it is appreciated. It is generally acceptable to inform the volunteers that they are not permitted to initiate conversation with golfers. They were unfairly imprisoned despite the fact that they had done nothing wrong. When hired outside the camps, workers were valued when they were kind to those being held. It wasn’t difficult to be kind, but it made a big difference to those who were detained in the camps.
Everyday service workers could benefit from receiving kindness and appreciation, which would make their lives happier. The majority of people will never know what is happening in the lives of those they occasionally cross paths with. Maybe a smile and a kind word would brighten their day.
If more people went out of their way to do a little kindness, the world might be a nicer place. It usually has no cost and can produce positive outcomes and benefits. Kindness is frequently portrayed as a quality of a good leader.
