When did your most recent tour end? Now that it has been a while since I have traveled, let me tell you about my most recent trip. I had recently received my degree, right? My dad thought “Oh, you’ve done wonderful work, little girl. You deserve your accolades and a treat”. How could I refuse that? In any case, who would refuse?
It was a late Friday in July, as far as I can recall. I had gone shopping the days before, so I had plenty of clothes and accessories. Oh! I was ready to shine, I was ready for everyone to know my “Ideniny”. First of all, I couldn’t sleep for days because I was so excited. When Friday finally arrived, I was so exhausted that I slept for the majority of the day and nearly missed my flight.
It would have been terrible!
Let’s move on to actually arriving in England. So we made the decision to travel around England a little. We traveled to a great number of cities, including Liverpool, London, Manchester, Brighton, and Leicester. People, I was really rolling. There are many tourist attractions to visit, including the London Eye, Madame Tussauds, and bus tours.
We stayed in various hotels; in the end, we considered ourselves to be nomads on the road. Can’t say I wasn’t depressed when I had to leave and return home. Of course, I knew there would be more opportunities to travel, but, to be completely honest, I did not want to return home. I yearned to remain there indefinitely. I actually begged my parents to let me stay back but they said “NO” and that was it.
Especially if your parents are Yoruba, you should avoid arguing with them. See, my mother is a straight-talking individual. Yes means Yes, and no means no. You are immediately checked if you step out of line.
You’re probably wondering “Isn’t she going to tell us about all the places she went to”. I suppose I could talk about going to Madame Tussauds and admiring the enormous wax figures there. I was totally enthralled. They seemed incredibly realistic. Almost disturbing, if I’m being completely honest, it was uncanny.
I could also mention my trip to Warner Bros. Let me just say that this particular adventure was one that I would love to go on again at any time. Call me a kid, but I was giddy seeing the studio where some of my favorite movies were made. Guys, I even feel dizzy!!!! In that studio, Harry Potter was created. How could I not be thrilled about all 8 movies? *laughs in childish*
Get on the Big Bus Hop on Hop off tour right away if you want the best overview of London. You can bet that you’ll see almost everything you require. You would ride in a double-decker bus, and depending on the weather, you could either sit on the lower deck or on the open deck. The weather in London can be quite “bipolar” if But whichever suits your fancy, if I may say so myself. On this tour, popular locations include the London Eye, Kensington Gardens, and St. Paul’s Cathedral and London’s Tower.

You can get off the bus to properly inspect these landmarks. I bet you were wondering “Will I just be looking”. Sha ‘don’t get lost’; you may, however, explore.
Even though I would love to recount each of my experiences in detail, you would probably grow weary. Why not travel around England yourself instead? Consequently, you are able to add your own experiences. How about a tour of other nations if you’ve already done that? What nation do you want to visit? It’s not too late to start saving money and planning; more importantly, the effort will be worthwhile in the end.
