You may be surprised to learn that 19% of golfers are female. It is anticipated that this number will soon increase even further. As I discovered, fortunately, you can take part in the enjoyable sport of golf whenever you like. The Women’s Golfers Hall of Fame is open to you. LOL, dreaming is definitely entertaining! However, everyone must begin somewhere.

This is what you need to know before venturing out as a girl in this male-dominated sport: ·

· The rules of the game

· What’s expected of you as a player

· Parts of the course (the playing field)

Rules and Conduct of the Game

Depending on how many rounds there are in that particular game, the winner is essentially the player who finished each round with the fewest number of strokes.

It will take a good golf club to hit the ball, and you should have fourteen of them. To get started, you can borrow or rent a set of clubs, and once your game has improved, you can buy your own set.

Every golfer is also expected to respect other players by making sure they are safe while playing and keeping up with the game’s tempo to keep it exciting and fun. Since there are no referees, it is also your responsibility to play graciously and honorably by keeping accurate score.

Dressing Up As a Female Golfer

Golf attire is chic, current, and fashionable, and you can put together some amazing contemporary golf looks. Your decision of golf attire and daytime clothing is greatly influenced by the weather outside. Adding a long-sleeved, lightweight sweater that is simple to put on and take off at any time will help you stay warmer on chilly days. A cute polo mini dress or shorts and a sleeveless top are great options for hotter and more humid days.

Leading fashion designers are creating lines of golf apparel. Brands like Bogner, Ralph Lauren, and Stella McCartney are incorporating golf attire into everyday looks. Make your golf attire fun and a reflection of your individual style. Dress up in fun tops, jackets/sweaters, capris or skirts, sporty dresses, fun socks, golf shoes, and a golf cap.

A thousand miles can be traveled in one step, so take the first one by enrolling in a golf class or clinic to learn the fundamentals of the game. Your interest will grow, and you’ll meet other enthusiastic golfers, for sure.

The golfing season has arrived, and I hope you’ll join me on the course.
