She has been a practicing Muslim for 53 years. She went by the name Lateefah E. At the age of 27, Musah, who had later embraced Christianity, was baptized as Letitia. Letitia E. is her new name. She experienced multiple year-long periods of love flings while in secondary school, Musah. She never spent more than six months hanging out with any one man. She claims to have been the most attractive person in her school and to have a penchant for hanky-panky relationships. She claims to have never slept with a man unless she was certain that he truly loved her. She would date a man for a month or two before breaking up with him. This was especially true if a man insisted on sharing a bed with her in the beginning of their relationship.
Her first interaction with a married man was with Abudu, the headmaster of her secondary school. Abudu was married, but he had a thing for every attractive woman he saw. He had a face like granite, a short, square body that had been killed by exercise, and he was 44 when she was 17 years old. He was a father of three and was well-versed in how to conduct himself in any setting. She wasn’t married, young, or particularly wise, on the other hand. He was attractive and appeared younger than his actual age. His style was to deliver protracted speeches that were frequently filled with cryptic quotations. He served as an example for his students and was regarded by Lateefah as a messianic figure who could lead them to a better life. She went to Abudu for guidance on everything, even on how to handle the guys who frequently harassed her because she refused to go out on dates with them. She had no idea that she was getting entangled in a spider’s web. Abudu took advantage of this impressionable young woman. Sadly, she did as he promised to make her fall in love with him. Abudu was a womanizer who practiced the finer points of his trade. When Lateefah struggled to fit in at her new boarding school, things began to spiral out of control.
Even though he was the head teacher at the school, Lateefah’s least favorite subject was French, which he also taught. Furthermore, she had failed each and every French exam, despite the fact that it was a required subject. She failed all of her French exams, which Abudu made worse. He made decisions because he was the only French instructor at her school. Grandpa hired a private tutor after becoming concerned about Lateefah’s subpar French grades. Grandpa tried to help her pass her French exams, but she kept tripping over the banana peels of Abudu, who thwarted all of her efforts. Up until the oral portion of the exam, which was always her nemesis, things occasionally went smoothly during the written portion. She didn’t think Abudu was the real problem because she saw him as a messianic figure.
Abudu finally had the chance to force Lateefah to ride in his rickety 25-year-old sedan when she developed a severe headache one hot afternoon during the dry season after competing in a volley ball match. The rest was history.
